Namma Bengaluru Dials Good Old Bangalore – Aha Summer Express 2022

Namma Bengaluru Dials Good Old Bangalore

Summer Express is back!

For the last two years, the pandemic has been a tough time for children who were compelled to interact through a screen. With Summer Express, Rangashankara is delighted to announce a host of new and exciting in-person workshops for children this April and May. From exploring rhythm, dance and folk music to dialing up ‘Good Old Bangalore’ and making up stories, they’ve got you covered.

About Namma Bengaluru Dials Good Old Bangalore

Pensioners Paradise. Garden City. India’s Silicon Valley. Namma Bengaluru, the Good Old Bangalore, is known by it’s multifarious names. As children glide into their teenage years, curious about so many things, can we take a closer look at this city we inhabit?

How does it inform our sense of belonging and our love for a place?

What if yesteryear Bangalore sent over some cartoons, stories, events, anecdotes and pictures of its time? If Namma Bengaluru were to Dial up Good Old Bangalore, what would they tell each other?

Come join in on this fun ride where we will see, listen, write, dramatic stories, become charades, work with our body and voice as we attempt to bring to life this conversion between Namma Bengaluru and Good Old Bangalore.
