Kiddies Majaa at kaTTe
kaTTe brings to you Kiddies Majaa for some serious fun where reality and make-believe come together. There are rules and then there’s freedom too – a perfect combination for a full day of fun designed especially for kids. Curated by child-specialist professionals, at this workshop your kids will have a blast being nothing but themselves, unleashing their creativity through a bunch of cool events and sessions. From a jumping, rolling, tucking movement workshop to a unique non-verbal play; from a magical Harry Potter quiz to a writing workshop – your kids will be spoilt for choice! P.S. parents, there are some fun activities designed for you too.
Roll and Tuck – an introduction to movement workshop with Navya Sah.
Time: 10:00 am to 11:00 am | Individual event pass: Rs.300/-
The theme of this session will be JamJamJump. In this session, kids will be playing, jumping, rolling, tucking and doing silly walks using the spine. They will experiment and use the spine in different speeds and in different ways to experience the rhythm of the body and breathe in slower and calmer ways through dance! Then the class will open up to dancing freely and create a short piece together using fun, high energy and contemporary steps that we can improvise in our own ways to play with!
KOOTTU – a non-verbal play followed by a workshop by Qabila collective
Time: 11:00 am to 12:45 pm | Individual event pass: Rs.500/-
KOOTTU is a non-verbal play that uses objects, movement, sound and rhythm to tell a story about overcoming differences in the classroom. It initiates a conversation about inclusivity and diversity with children, and does so with imagination, humour, and a fun highly interactive post-play game. The play runs for 45 mins. And the post-play game takes a further 30mins only.
Harry Potter Quiz with Nagaratna Patil

Nagaratna Patil has been a part of Bengaluru’s quizzing circuit for the past decade and has set and conducted numerous quizzes at the school and open level for the Karnataka Quiz Association since 2016. Sign up in teams of 2 for an hour of wizardry!

Octopus Eye – a writing workshop with Theatre maker Nisha Abdulla
Time: 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm | Individual event pass: Rs.400/-
Nisha Abdulla is a playwright and director based out of Bangalore. She is often creating work with and for young audiences. Nisha has also facilitated multiple storytelling, writing and theatre workshops in Bangalore and internationally. In this session of Octopus Eye, she will lead young writers through an interactive process that helps them convert sensory stimuli into a written story.
