The Dhaatu Puppet Festival celebrates the joy of our famed Indian epics through puppetry over 2 magical days. Enjoy the installations of puppets from across the world and engage in a workshop where you can learn how to make your own puppets.

8 Puppet Shows on the Revived Intangible Heritage of India

8 Puppet Parades
Timings: 1:45 pm, 3:45 pm, 5:45 pm & 7:45 pm on both days
10 Storytelling sessions
Timings: 11:30 am, 12:30 pm, 2:30 pm, 4:30 pm, 6:30 pm on both days
A Puppet Galleria featuring installations of puppets from India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Egypt, Turkey, Belgium, Bulgaria, Burma, Czech Republic, Spain, Germany, England and USA.
Experience playing and making StringPuppets, GlovePuppets, ShadowPuppets, RodPuppets all day. There will also be take-home workshops on IndiDolls, Shadow Puppets, Glove Puppets and String Puppets throughout the day along with a puppet bazaar and classes on learning how to sing puppet songs.
