Meet Sejal Nihalani

Is originally from London and currently based in Hong Kong with her husband and two wonderfully inquisitive boys. Full time motherhood has inspired her to write poems for her sons and for other mothers to share with their children. Sejal started out by reading French and Russian Literature at Oxford University. She then trained as a solicitor in London and went on to work in Hong Kong. As someone who understands the world in words, she imposes narratives on everything she sees, feels and hopes for as a mother. She passionately believes that poetry helps children engage with their emotions and expands linguistic capabilities. Her writing allows her to summarise the many, many things she wants to say to her children in a page or two."
