Let’s make masks! Animal masks are not only fun, they’re colourful too. Here are 4 easy printables for you to make.
Step by step instructions for making your own personalised animal masks
- Print out each mask on an A4 card paper. You can also print these out on regular A4 sheet paper though you would need to glue the mask on to a cardboard/ mount board to make it stiffer.
- Once you’re done, carefully cut out the mask as well as all the pieces as shown in the image above.
1. Roar with Alex, the king of the jungle!
- Start with the yellow circle which will be the lion’s face. Glue on the 2 ears on both sides as indicated in the image.
- Then add on the eyes, nose and whiskers as indicated in the image above.
- Once you’re done with that, glue on the face to the mane of the lion.
- Choose your favourite colour/ paint and finish the beautiful mane.
- Gently pierce 2 holes on the black dots shown above and attach your string.
- And voila.. the king of the jungle is ready to ‘ROAR’
2. Croak along with Mr.Freddy the Frog Prince
- Start with the green circle which will be the Freddy’s face, and glue on the little green dots as shown in the image above.
- Then add on the big round eyes, pink heart and the crown.
- Choose your colour/ paint and finish the crown. You could even add a few colourful beads to decorate it.
- Gently pierce 2 holes in the black dots shown above to attach your string.
- Croak croak! Mr.Freddy is ready to go hop hop hop!
3. Scare your friends with this cute monster!
- Start with the red circle which will be the scary monsters face. Glue on the 3 googly eyes as indicated in the image above.
- Then add on the mouth and the sharp scary teeth as indicated in the image above.
- Once you’re done with that glue on the stars and paint them with your favourite colours.
- Gently pierce 2 holes in the black dots shown above to attach your string.
- Are you ready? Here comes the Monster….Run, run, run!
4. Tweet and chirp with this lovely birdie!
- Start with the peach/pink oval shape which will be the little birdies face. Glue on the red heart as indicated in the image.
- Once you’re done with that glue on the nose to the 2 eyes leaving equal distance between the two as indicated above and glue it onto the face.
- Glue on the wings on either side and finally add on the pretty bow to the top.
- Choose your colour/ paint and colour your bow.
- Gently pierce 2 holes in the black dots shown above to attach your string.
- Tweet, tweet, tweet your little birdie is ready to fly away!
Make sure you try on the masks before tightening them to check if your kids are comfortable. In case your children are not used to wearing a mask you could even glue it on to an ice cream stick to the back which they can hold.
Wear them, hold them, have fun with them – that’s what the animal masks are guaranteed to do for your kids!
