About The Pearls Montessori House of Children
The Pearls House of Children (Montessori) was started in the year 2012 to provide child-centric education in an expert and caring environment amidst world-class infrastructure.
Their aim is to create an ambience where the child’s natural curiosity is stimulated. The curious child engages in an experiential learning process under gentle adult supervision. The role of the teacher here is to facilitate the learning process and not to intervene.
Their motto reflects our child-centered spirit, explore, learn and celebrate.

- Curriculum Details
Exercises of Practical Life – As toddlers grow they become more observant and helpful with the activities that parents do every day. These are what Maria Montessori calls Practical Life Activities. These include – Preliminary Exercises (rolling a mat, turning the pages of a book), Care of the Person (washing, buttoning, preparing a snack), Care of Environment (sweeping, washing a table, sowing seeds).
Sensorial Activities – Montessori believed that sensorial experiences began at birth. Through his senses, the child studies his environment. Through this study, the child then begins to understand his environment. The child, to Montessori, is a “sensorial explorer”. These activities stimulate visual sense (pink tower), tactile sense (touch boards, fabrics), auditory sense (sound boxes), olfactory sense etc.
Language – “To talk is in the nature of man.” Humans needed language in order to communicate, and soon, the powers that come with language will be revealed. The child should experience different modes of language and hear and tell stories. Most importantly, the child should feel free and be encouraged to communicate with others. Language activites include – oral (vocabulary), written (sandpaper letters), handwriting, reading (phonetic activities) etc.
Arithmetic – Human kind has a mathematical mind. The mind tends to estimate, needs to quantify, to see identity, similarity, difference, and patterns, to make order and sequence and to control error. The mathematical material gives the child his own mathematical experience and to arrive at individual work.
Science and Cultural Activities – This typically includes geography, history, general science, music, and art.
